Sanctity of Life Sunday – Jan. 22

Sanctity of Life Sunday is a Pro-Life response to the infamous Roe vs Wade Supreme Court decision that took place on January 22, 1973.

We rejoice that the Supreme Court overturned the Roe vs Wade Federal Law. This doesn’t end abortion but turns the decision over to the states. Unfortunately, we live in Illinois that not only permits, but encourages abortion.

We continue to pray for the change of human hearts that choose abortion – murdering the lives of the unborn. For the unborn bear the image of God and are being formed in the womb of their mother. For listen to what God says in His Word:

Ps. 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
