Totenfest - Christian Memorial Service, November 23

Totenfest, the Christian Memorial Service, will be held on Sunday, November 23. We will turn to the Resurrection Words of Jesus found in Matthew 22:23-33 for comfort.

Totenfest gives us the opportunity to meditate on our loved ones who passed away in the last year. We can rejoice that we shared in their lives. We can mourn this present time of separation. And we can praise God for the victory of Jesus’ resurrection (1 Cor. 15:54b, “Death has been swallowed up in victory,”), and through Him, our own coming resurrection (1 Cor. 15:57, “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”)
