Kings Kids Summer Church Camp – July 13-18

Kids in 3rd through 8th grade have the great opportunity of attending King‘s kids camp this summer Sunday, July 13-July 18. It is an overnight camp sponsored by several St. Louis area Evangelical churches, at Camp Wartburg (5705 Lrc Rd, Waterloo, IL 62298) near Waterloo.

The theme for camp this year is “Powerful Parables for all People.” Each day, campers will focus on one or more of the parables that Jesus taught. Campers will have a wonderful time enjoying great camping activities, such as morning watches, swimming, archery, canoeing, crafts, games, water carnival, relays, creek walks, “the gauntlet,” a giant slip-and-slide, campfires, candle time, a scavenger hunt, crazy games, special activities, and special presentations. The older campers can choose to do the high ropes course if they wish.

Campers also chose a worship workshop, where they focus on one type of worship skill, such as Art, Drama, Stomp Percussion, Video Skits, or a Creation Workshop. It’s a fantastic week where campers can grow in their faith while having a great time!
